Amber Tondreau-Curry is currently the music director for New Vista Middle School. From a young age Amber knew she wanted to be a singer, she sang in the school choir from elementary school through college. In 2010 she earned her B.A. in Music Education from Cal-State University, Northridge and in 2012 earned her credential in Music Education. In high school, Amber traveled and competed with the esteemed high school choral director Mr. Mike McCullough, and during her credential program became his student teacher. She first began teaching music in 2007 in the Los Angeles Unified School District as an after school program developer and director. Her passion, and love of music and children can be seen through the energy and enthusiasm in her conducting, teaching and music. She resides in Rosamond, with her family and a zoo of pets.
